If you’re anything like me, you love pieces that feel personal... the kind of gifts that make someone stop, smile, and say, “This was made just for me.” That’s always been my favorite kind of gift to give, and it’s really at the heart of everything I create.
I’ve always been drawn to the look of patchwork—there’s just something about mixing colors, textures, and patterns that feels so cozy and full of life. And being from Texas... well, it’s probably no surprise that I have a special love for good blue denim too. It’s classic, durable, and pairs beautifully with all those soft, colorful fabrics.
My journey with Patchwork + Denim really began during the pandemic, when I purchased my very first sewing and embroidery machines. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into something I truly fell in love with. I couldn’t stop sewing, stitching, and dreaming up new ideas.
Not long after, I made a very special pillow for a 90th birthday—and that moment changed everything. Seeing how meaningful and personal that gift was sparked the idea for Patchwork + Denim, and I haven’t looked back since.
